Lisa E. Hunter

Paralegal

Born and raised in Bay City, Michigan, I have over 17 years of experience in the legal field.  I worked right out of high school as a court clerk and docket clerk for the United States District Court.  I then followed my husband to Wisconsin where we spent 14 years before moving to New Ulm in 1991.

I have worn many hats over the years, but almost always I have worked in an office setting where customer/client service has been an important part of my job.  The past 15 years have been spent in a law office where I started as a receptionist/file clerk, and then worked as a legal assistant and paralegal.  I have extensive experience in family law, as well as experience in estate planning, probate, business, and litigation.  I enjoy working directly with clients and helping to meet their needs.

Shari and I are not strangers, having worked together the past 13 years.  Shari is an excellent attorney and a great teacher.  I have learned a lot from her and look forward to helping her build this practice.

My husband Tom is an English professor and Director of International Services at Martin Luther College.  Together we have raised 4 children and have been blessed with 11 grandchildren.  We enjoy traveling, camping, and spending time with our family.
