​Raised on a crop and livestock farm near Morgan, Minnesota, the middle sister in a brood of five vocal girls, I learned at a young age that tenacity, hard work, and determination are essential skills to success.  Watching firsthand the struggles of farming during the 1980s, I also learned the importance of helping fellow neighbors and friends in need, and what your farm means to you and your family.   These life lessons cultivated at a young age, I use today as a successful attorney.


My approach to practicing law is different than many attorneys.   Over the years, I've found that my clients truly appreciate the personal connection, time and focused attention I give them.  I'm here to help clients plan their future--and their family's future--and that's something I don't take lightly.


I have a quickly growing practice focused in estate planning and have extensive experience in diverse probate matters. I also regularly counsel clients in the areas of farm, commercial and residential real estate, and business law.  My clients' net worth has ranged from modest estates to those in excess of $20 million.  


I am here to listen to your needs and help you accomplish your goals in any way I can.  I know that legal advice can be tough on your wallet.  To remedy that, I will offer you different options --presented in a way that you can understand--so that you can easily decide which option is best for you.


I have been married to Cody Fischer since 1998.  We make our home on a farm west of Hanska, where Cody and his brothers continue a Century family farm operation.  Cody also owns and runs his own HVAC business.  In our limited spare time, we enjoy traveling and spending time at the lake with family, friends, and our favorite English Bulldog, Mabel.
